Eryn's Fundraiser - Wildlife Ranger Challenge (Team SAWC)

I recently returned from South Africa, where I had the opportunity to meet and work with rangers with the Southern African Wildlife College’s Media and Marketing team. 

During my time, some of these rangers became some of my best friends - in the world. 

We joked, laughed, and learned from one another. 

They gave me words in Shangaan, Tshivenda, Afrikaans, Portuguese, and Xhosa.

The rangers told me all about their parks, stories of crazy wildlife encounters, their families, and the goals they held for the future. 

And on my worst days; they gave me a shoulder to cry on. 

We flipped the tractor tire together, jogged, and played soccer together…

I still speak with many of them and hope to support them in their mission to protect Africa’s biodiversity.

So I’ll run & fund for them.
